A = Abstemiously

For Fun Friday this week, I am posting a word.

Abstemiously.

What is so special about this word? Remember that this is Fun Friday, so try not to put too much thought into it.

If, however, you would like to delve beyond the fun and find out more about this word, abstemious is characterized by abstinence or sparing or moderate eating and drinking. How can that relate you your life? You can answer facetiously, yet it would be interesting to read people's various perspectives.

  1. I know what is special about Abstemiously....it has to do with the vowels A,E,I,O,U and Y! So does Facetiously!! :)

  2. That is correct, A.Marie! ...and for the record, facetiously is another word that has all of the vowels listed in alphabetical order.

  5. It's a game similar to scrabble. It's a good way to excercise your gray matter :-)

    I saw a few people who could benefit from eating and drinking in such a manner at the last church banquet! :D
