I know that I am in a hurry a lot of the time, trying to get everything done and my "list" finished. Then, one of the monsters do or day something to get my attention, and I have to regroup! I truly try to cherish these young days with my monsters, they are short .Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08286520856571860538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4703668046811156904.post-44336870802909035132010-06-12T10:02:42.208-04:002010-06-12T10:02:42.208-04:00I still vividly remember my own wonder as I looked...I still vividly remember my own wonder as I looked at my first child laying in my arms. That is an awe that I have never lost even though he is 30. It is hard to think that my "baby" is 10 years older than I was when he was born. Rushing to get my housework done before hubby gets home, rushing to get my busienss work done to hopefully sit back and relax a few moments, rushing to be sure meals are done on time, etc. However, yesterday, I put all of that aside and spent more time with my kids than I normally get a chance to. We got our newest shipment of DT stuff we just recently bought for the kids, and they were SO excited to dig into it, I just couldnt resist to say 'forget the housework' and play a while with my kids. They enjoyed their games so much, it "hurt my heart" (as my son likes to say lol) to tell them I had to stop playing with them so I could get their dinner ready! Luckily, I called hubby on his way home from work and asked him to pick up something for dinner LOL (hehe I came up with an excuse not to cook and instead play with my kids a while longer! LOL.)

This is a great post Dm! And I truely enjoyed seeing the pics of your son enjoying himself to the fullest! Just last night she was really thrilled to be in the pool for the first time this year. AND on top of that, the awesomeness of jumping on the mini trampoline by herself!!! Well, words cannot express the joy she experienced in that small, insignificant act(to an old lady) of independence!! "Write on" Dm!!! LOL!! I made a funny!! :o)bjblack720https://www.blogger.com/profile/01126727297001348472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4703668046811156904.post-35206023831083372522010-06-08T18:17:15.728-04:002010-06-08T18:17:15.728-04:00Remembering is not the point.
